Top Ten Changes to the "Norm"

Wow - it's amazing how time flies.  Blake is almost 4 months old and it seems like he changes every day.  But some things, while changing somewhat, are apparently permanent fixtures now.  Here's a list of what I've accepted as the new "norm":

10) Cleaning poop off clothes, changing pad, car seat, etc.  It seems like he's outgrowing diaper sizes constantly, resulting in blowouts (or maybe he's saving it up for one big mess because he knows I love it so much :) )

9) Waking up at random hours to calm him down (he now wakes up gnawing on his fingers - starting to teethe??)

8) Staring at Pete at 3 AM, wondering how he can sleep through Blake stirring.

7) Constantly trying to make up new games as Blake gets bored

6) Slobber on my hands, clothes and face . . . wherever his hands and mouth go.

5) Making decisions on social visits, etc based on how fussy Blake is

4) Working out, hoping to get in the shower before Blake wakes up and gets hungry

3) Reading time means Blake sitting in my lap and playing with a toy in one hand, the other hand holding my Kindle . . . in 5 min increments

2) Conversations consist of "Blah Blah Blah" . . . literally . . . and "Ma Ma Ma", "Da Da Da", etc

Of course, the best one of all:

1) Doing anything to get a giggle - he will play and laugh and laugh now.  It's amazing what we'll do to get that laugh going :)

Here are some more photos from the past months - and some videos.  There are also some photos from Christmas.  It was great - lots of great toys, although Blake didn't really know what was going on.  The big event was he decided to finally start rolling over on Christmas morning - now we can't get him to stop.  I feel the impending "chasing him around" coming.

Not sure what to do next now that he turned himself around

Christmas morning - toys that light up, make sounds and are more exciting than Mom and Dad!

He is so cute and getting so big! I'm glad you are enjoying motherhood despite all of the slobber and lack of sleep. :)
