O Holy Night
I hope everyone is doing great. I don't have much time before church, so I'll finish this later, but I just am amazed at the power and peace that is available to us if we simply obey the first and great commandment - to love God with all our heart, might and mind. There are so many things that I think I need direction on or need answers to, but often the Lord just lets me figure it out. Not because He doesn't want to guide me, but because He wants me to love Him and be willing to listen and submit to Him always. It's easy to say i'll submit in the moments when I want a clear answer. But to do it even when the answer is to continue with my ears and eyes open so that I can see Him and understand Him in my daily life - that's different. It requires that I submit myself to Him always, that I listen always so I can see who He wants me to be and who I want to be.
